Help Wanted!
Wow, so the lazy days of summer have already taken over here. We've been sleeping in, wearing our pajamas until noon, swimming and laying on the couch like slugs. I've been neglecting the ole blog a tad, but it's not all my fault: I'm waiting for a couple of emails before I can announce a new giveaway and a reading challenge; I've been reviewing a manuscript for a friend of my husband's; and, well, I've been trying to keep my kiddos from going insane with boredom. Believe me, that is a full-time job.

Comments make me feel special, so go crazy! Just keep it clean and civil. Feel free to speak your mind (I always do), but be aware that I will delete any offensive comments.
P.S.: Don't panic if your comment doesn't show up right away. I have to approve each one before it posts to prevent spam. It's annoying, but it works!

I love Alma http://almaloveland.com/
ReplyDeleteShe just did my new header, and it is awesome!! We were able to work out a trade of ad space for some of the cost, so I'd make her an offer. She also did the header of PetitElefant.com, which I adore!
Well I am not really lounging but I am reading Queen of the Castle and In Praise of Stay at Home Moms. Sense a theme?lol
ReplyDeleteI did want to ask if you had heard about the summer reading program through Barnes and Noble? I figured you probably had but that I would check!
Jane - I noticed your new header - lots of fun. I checked out Alma's website, but she's way expensive, almost 3 x as much as my SIL's friend. Maybe I will make her an offer - just to see.
ReplyDeleteP - I'm sure it's tough to lounge when you're 8 months pregnant! LOL. I still need to read IN PRAISE OF STAY-AT-HOME MOMS. Is it good?
The kids usually do our library's reading program as well as B&N's. I noticed that Border's is doing one, too. I don't know if it's a new thing or not, but it's basically the same as B&N's program. All these programs keep the kids excited about reading!
Enjoy your lounging time "you earned it, I'm sure"> :)
ReplyDeleteI just looked yesterday to see if your website had a button- don't know anyone, but can't wait to see what you come up with!
ReplyDeleteWhat aren't I reading? This year so far I've read 73 books. About one every two days. I'm trying to decide if that's impressive or pathetic.... :)
ReplyDeleteHi! I'm new to this blog. My SIL might be able to help you with your blog art. Her site is http://thedailydelights.com/
ReplyDeleteI'm currently reading the Percy Jackson series by Rick Riordan with my 9 yr old son.
Wish I could help with the header but I'm useless and can be seen at my rather plain book blog! LOL A reading challenge???? I'm intrigued.
