Yeah, I was surprised when I counted them up to see just how many new authors I read in 2020. SO many.

Bowling is great. I just checked out MOMENTOUS EVENTS IN THE LIFE OF A CACTUS from the library. Can't wait to read it!

Honestly, I probably wouldn't have gotten to Stone this year if it hadn't been for judging for the Cybils Awards. I'm glad I did, though, and I'm definitely looking forward to reading more of her books.

One of the things I love about being a Cybils Awards judge is that I'm always introduced to new writers. I'm sure I would have gotten around to Stone eventually, but the Cybils "forced" me to read her. I'm glad I did and am looking forward to reading the rest of her books. I'm happy to say I'm caught up with Julie Lee's books - it's easy when there's just one :) Can't wait to see what she does next.

Nice! I'm loving the Maxwell series. I love that the books are light, fun reads but also well-written and engaging. Sager's books are totally different than Maxwell's, but I've been enjoying them, too.
