Awesome! Amanda's been really great to work with. She's easy to communicate with and has listened to all my ideas/suggestions and done her best to make them happen, going above and beyond to get the blog just the way I want it. We're still working on it, but it's been fun to see it all come together.

I liked the old design as well, but I think it was definitely time for a change! I love green (one of the many things we have in common), so I'm thrilled with the new color scheme.

I would be, as well. Is this a suggestion by your blog provider or did you have to find all the pictures and wallpaper etc. yourself?

I told the designer what I wanted in terms of the general look and feel of the blog, including choosing a color scheme, and then I let her work her design magic! I had seen a few of her other blog designs and told her which I liked best, so it kind of matches that one but has its own unique flavor, if that makes sense.

Ah, I see, good idea to have a designer.

Ha ha. Well, I've tried doing blog re-design myself and while I've learned a lot, my skills are still pretty much non-existent. At this point, I'd rather pay someone to do it for me. This blog re-do wasn't cheap, but I think it's worth it!

I'm glad you had such a great experience in SLC! There's lots to see there, but it is a big bummer that Temple Square is under construction. It will look amazing when it's all done—it's just going to take awhile still. How awesome that you got a personalized tour. What a nice lady!
